Belvidere North, Belvidere volleyball teams to play outdoor matches

Belvidere North and Belvidere will compete in outdoor volleyball matches at Milt Brown Stadium's parking lot on Wednesday at 4 p.m. due to recent rain. The match will begin with 8th-grade games, followed by freshman and junior varsity contests, with the varsity match set to start at 8:15 p.m. This revised setting replaces the original plan to hold the matches on the football field. Belvidere North enters the match with an 11-6 overall record and 6-2 in the NIC-10, while Belvidere has a 4-14 record and 2-6 in the conference. The teams previously faced each other in the season, with North winning in straight sets.
