Ben Stokes aims for England Test coaching role post-retirement

Summary

Ben Stokes revealed his ambition to coach England's Test team in a podcast conversation with Jos Buttler and Stuart Broad. He is currently pursuing level three coaching credentials while still playing. His comments highlight concerns about the coaching in English cricket, particularly the predominance of foreign coaches. Stephen Fleming is set to take over as head coach, marking the ECB's fourth foreign appointment in the last 27 years. This trend raises questions about the opportunities for English coaches within the system, with only two English coaches holding the position since 1986.
