Berlin Brothersvalley volleyball defeats North Star in four sets

Berlin Brothersvalley rebounded from a mid-week loss to Everett by securing a four-set victory over North Star on Thursday, Sept. 10. The Mountaineers claimed the match with set scores of 25-17, 22-25, 25-16, and 25-18. After dropping the second set, the home team regained momentum in the third to take a 2-1 lead before finishing the win. Berlin Brothersvalley improved to 3-1 on the season following the victory. Coach Corey Will noted the team successfully executed their tactical plan after struggling against Everett earlier in the week. North Star, also holding a 3-1 record, relied on 15 kills from Brooke Cannin and 25 assists from Ella Hurley throughout the contest.
