Bishop Eustace names Phil Fisher as head wrestling coach

Bishop Eustace Prep has appointed Phil Fisher as the head coach of its wrestling program, which returns to competition this winter after an 11-year hiatus. The program previously disbanded following the 2014-15 season due to low participation numbers. Fisher, a former football player and wrestler at West Deptford High School, joins the Crusaders following five seasons as an assistant coach at West Deptford and Gateway. While the team lacks an on-campus wrestling room, athletes will train at the All I See is Gold Academy in Merchantville, though home meets will take place at the school. The Crusaders historically hold nine sectional titles and three state championships. The team is scheduled to compete in a dual-meet schedule and local districts this season.
