Blake Wong commits to BYU over Ohio State, UCLA, and others

Blake Wong, a four-star wide receiver and the No. 3 rated receiver in California, has committed to BYU. This decision follows a close call where BYU lost four-star athlete Bode Sparrow to Oklahoma the previous day. Wong, who caught 84 passes for 1,470 yards and 20 touchdowns last fall, chose BYU after visiting several schools, citing cultural fit and early playing opportunities. He is now the ninth commit in BYU's 2027 recruiting class, which had been struggling in rankings before this commitment.
