Bloomington South baseball triumphed over Evansville North 1-0 in the IHSAA Class 4A semi-state championship on June 13 at Braun Stadium in Evansville. The Panthers, who have not reached a state title game in 54 years, utilized strong pitching and defense to secure the win, despite being no-hit. Senior Connor Couch scored the only run, while Xavier Hemingway delivered a dominant performance on the mound, striking out seven batters. Bloomington South will face Lake Central for the state title on June 20 at Victory Field in Indianapolis.
