Bozorov, Olek, Sulamanidze, Fontaine and Tasoev win gold in Lausanne

The inaugural Ecole Mont-Olivet Grand Slam in Lausanne concluded at the Vaudoise Arena with gold medal victories across five weight classes. Umar Bozorov secured the -90kg title after a final against Nurbek Murtozoev, while Anna Monta Olek earned her fifth grand slam gold by defeating Yelyzaveta Lytvynenko in the -78kg category. Ilia Sulamanidze claimed the -100kg gold, and Lea Fontaine secured the +78kg title after defeating Romane Dicko. Inal Tasoev finished the event by winning the +100kg category against Martti Puumalainen. The competition featured an inclusive kata demonstration by Joshiro Maruyama and Petra Orešković, drawing attendance from International Judo Federation and IOC officials. The event serves as part of the Olympic qualification circuit, with the tour scheduled to continue next in Budapest.
