Braedon Karpathios earns Texas League honors during series split against Midland

San Antonio Missions outfielder Braedon Karpathios received Texas League Player of the Week honors following his performance during a six-game home series against the Midland RockHounds. The Missions and RockHounds finished the series with a 3-3 record. Karpathios recorded 14 hits in 22 at-bats with 13 RBIs, three doubles, and two home runs over the week, extending his hitting streak to eight games. The Missions opened the series with consecutive victories at Wolff Stadium, including a 7-1 win and a 13-5 victory, before dropping the third game. The teams also traded results in the final three contests, featuring a come-from-behind 8-7 win for San Antonio followed by two losses. Missions manager Chris Tremie noted the week served as a productive period for player development despite the inconsistent results at the end of the series.
