Braves secure series win and provide injury updates on Smith-Shawver

The Atlanta Braves continued their strong season with a 7-2 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies, improving their record to 42-20. The team's success comes amid several key injuries, including to AJ Smith-Shawver, who is recovering from Tommy John surgery and expected to start a rehab assignment soon. The Braves look forward to reinforcements in the rotation, with potential returns of players such as Drake Baldwin and Spencer Schwellenbach around July. A win in Thursday's game would complete a series sweep.
