Brentwood Academy, Ensworth face injuries in TSSAA football matchup

Brentwood Academy and Ensworth struggled with injuries during their TSSAA football game on September 25. Brentwood Academy’s Judah Lancaster suffered a knee injury and was seen on crutches post-game. The Eagles were already without Kesean Bowman, who is recovering from a knee injury. Ensworth played without star running back EJ Gibson, who is expected to return for their October 2 game against Knoxville Catholic. Without Gibson, Ensworth failed to score for the first time since 2020 while Brentwood Academy emerged with a 24-0 lead during the match.
