Brewers trade Codi Heuer to Orioles just two days after acquiring him

The Milwaukee Brewers traded right-handed pitcher Codi Heuer to the Baltimore Orioles for cash on August 3, just two days after acquiring him from the Cleveland Guardians. Heuer was part of a trade that also brought catcher Bo Naylor to Milwaukee. The Brewers aimed to clear space on their roster for new acquisitions, which included three pitchers. In the restructuring, Milwaukee designated Carlos Rodriguez for assignment. The trades are reflective of a busy trade deadline as the team positions itself for success this season.
