Brighton have completed the signing of Colombian midfielder Matias Orozco from Deportivo Cali. The Premier League club secured the 18-year-old on a five-year contract for an undisclosed fee, which is reported to be approximately £3.5 million. Orozco emerged from the Deportivo Cali academy and made his senior debut at age 16, ultimately making 24 appearances in the top flight last season. He currently serves as the captain for the Colombia Under-20 national team. Brighton management views the teenager as a long-term investment for the squad.
