Bron Breakker sustained a concerning fall during a WWE house show in Hawaii over the weekend. While attempting a Frankensteiner on LA Knight, Breakker slipped, catching his legs on the ropes and landing headfirst on the mat. His neck bent at an unnatural angle during the impact. Despite the serious fall, he managed to finish the match after being checked by the referee. This incident adds to concerns surrounding wrestler safety following a recent similar event involving Tiffany Stratton at Money in the Bank. Breakker previously faced months on the sidelines earlier this year due to a hernia requiring surgery and his status for Raw on October 19 is uncertain.

"WWE got Stephanie Vaquer and Rusev back while on their Hawaiian house show loop this past weekend. Hopefully another star isn’t back on the company’s injured list after another spot from the tour. It happened during a match between The Vision and LA Knight, Penta and Oba Femi. Videos of the spot making the rounds show Bron Breakker going for a Frankensteiner on Knight. But after the target dodges, Breakker slips off the top transitioning into his follow up, falling so that his legs get caught on the ropes, which sends him crashing headfirst into the mat. Bron’s neck bends in a severe, not-entirely natural manner during his landing. That’s good, hopefully. But we also just saw Tiffany Stratton do the same after smashing her head on the floor diving off the top of a ladder at Money in the Bank a couple Saturdays ago, and then she missed last week’s SmackDown (Tiffy Two-Times was “recovering nicely”, per General Manager Nick Aldis, but wasn’t on the show). Best wishes to Bron Breakker, who already missed several months earlier this year due to a hernia that required surgery. We’ll see if he’s on Raw tonight (Oct. 19).
