Broncos promote Adam Prentice to active roster before 49ers matchup

The Denver Broncos have added fullback Adam Prentice to their 53-man roster ahead of their game against the San Francisco 49ers on October 8, 2026. Prentice's elevation comes as he maxed out his practice squad elevations this season. He was a reliable contributor last season, appearing in all 17 games and contributing on special teams. His promotion indicates the Broncos are looking to strengthen their roster ahead of the Week 4 matchup. A corresponding roster move will be necessary to accommodate his addition.
