On "WWE Raw", The Vision beat down Oba Femi with Bronson Reed delivering multiple tsunamis to Femi after landing four on him on Sunday Night's Main Event.

His return to WWE from a six-month injury layoff at Sunday Night’s Main Event instantly breathed life back into The Vision stable. The next night on Raw, a testy moment from the aftermath of his group’s second destruction of Oba Femi in as many nights caused many an argument online. Going back to SNME, I’d admired the way Femi continued to fight throughout The Vision’s assaults in Atlanta. This read like more of the same from him, with a little logically added spice. Because Reed would want to make a statement by putting his foot on the Beast-Slaying King of the Ring, and The Ruler wouldn’t want to allow him to make that statement unless he was dead or unconscious. That the logic works for their characters and the men behind those characters? That’s pro wrestling magic right there, baby. Anyway, that’s not what you came here for. That would be the Bronson Reed quote in the headline. It comes from his appearance on Raw Recap: WWE Now with Sam Roberts and Megan Morant. Reed isn’t addressing the foot-swipe, at least not directly. Roberts tees this mini-promo up by “asking” if the big man could have imagined a better way to return than taking down the “unbeatable” Femi. “I am the man that beats the unbeatable people. So Oba Femi being the very top of the mountain at the moment, I’m very happy to climb up that mountain than stay down at the bottom and die. I’d rather [die trying] climbing the mountain. “If you go back and you look at Bronson Reed lore — I’ll say it, I don’t care where we are. I beat [Kazuchika] Okada in Japan. He was the unbeatable man at the time. I beat him. Roman Reigns, unbeatable. No one can beat him. I beat him. Now, we are in the era of Oba Femi, he’s unbeatable. Just wait until I beat him.” It’s a fantastic answer, reminding us that Jonah Rock was taking out fools with a Death Drop Driver in New Japan and his native Australia long before Big Bronson Reed was Tsunami-ing fools on NXT and Raw. It also only makes me more excited for a Reed/Femi clash, regardless of who was right or wrong in that viral clip from Monday night. The altercation followed Reed’s not-s0-surprising return at Sunday Night’s Main Event (September 6), where he was part of run-in by fellow members of The Vision during a match between Breakker and Femi. But for all the drama between The Vision and Femi, it was a moment after the match clipped for social media that’s had fans talking in recent days. In the videos making the rounds, the members of The Vision stand over a prone Femi following the beatdown on Raw. Reed then goes for a trophy pose by putting his foot on Femi’s back, but the Nigerian big man reacted angrily. Femi then appeared to go off script by forcefully pushing away Reed’s foot. The incident has caused a debate online with some arguing that Reed took liberties with Oba by attempting the pose, while others argued that Femi should have laid still and sold it instead of breaking character. “Bronson Reed 100% went off script and tried to do what Oba Femi had permission to do with Brock Lesnar after standing tall….put his foot on him. This off script moment could have legit injured Bronson. F&%^ Oba for no selling that moment. Oba could lose his opportunity to be the top guy of WWE.” Some fans, though, didn’t have a problem with the foot shove and thought it made sense for Oba’s character. “Am I the only one who thought it was within the realm of kayfabe? He’s The Ruler, yes he got beatdown but he had enough fight in him to deny another man trying to ‘conquer’ him,” read a comment expressing this view. The X account under the username DirtyDomDom drew a parallel between the incident and when Femi did a similar pose on Brock Lesnar during their feud. The future of WWE is very clearly Oba Femi, and it’s also very clearly Bron Breakker. The question is who is going to be out ahead between the two, with the latter getting a head start but failing to break through to the top and the former seemingly headed straight for it. Naturally, WWE put them opposite each other, made their claim as “the future” the point of contention in a feud, and booked them in a match at tonight’s (Sun., Sept. 6, 2026) Sunday Night’s Main Event special on Peacock at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. Paul Heyman was placed in the middle, his allegiance in question. In the end, we didn’t get any real answer to anything. That’s because Bronson Reed made his long awaited return, putting a chair into Femi’s back and getting the match thrown out. The man came back looking like he’s in the best shape of his life, having slimmed down a bit. He’s still a hoss, though, and the Tsunami still looks incredible. We know because he delivered a few to Femi after they called for the bell. Breakker also hit a couple Spears — Reed set them up properly, take notes, Austin Theory — and The Vision stood tall by the end of the segment. We’ll see what Heyman has to say about this but Reed brings a credibility to a group that was severely lacking it in his absence, even with Breakker.
