Bryson DeChambeau confirms commitment to LIV Golf 2.0 for 2027 season

Bryson DeChambeau has confirmed his intention to remain with LIV Golf as the league moves toward its 2027 structure. This decision follows months of speculation regarding a potential return to the PGA Tour after Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund announced plans to withdraw original funding earlier this year. According to reports, DeChambeau is committed to the updated league format, which features 10 teams of four players and an open field of 50 additional competitors. While DeChambeau and peers such as Cam Smith and Dustin Johnson appear aligned with the project, other players including Bubba Watson, David Puig, and Jon Rahm are not expected to participate. The new iteration of the league includes a cut for the bottom 30 players of each 90-man field and will offer tournament purses between $7 million and $9 million.
