Buck Martinez to be inducted into Blue Jays Hall of Excellence

Buck Martinez will be enshrined in the Toronto Blue Jays Hall of Excellence on August 29 at Rogers Centre. The ceremony coincides with a game against the Seattle Mariners and marks an emotional celebration of Martinez's contributions to the team. Previously diagnosed with lung cancer, Martinez recently announced he is cancer-free. Former Blue Jays greats Dave Stieb and George Bell are expected to attend the ceremony. The Hall of Excellence replaces the former Level of Excellence, honoring players who have significantly influenced the franchise's history.
