Buffalo Bills prepare larger role for defensive tackle Deone Walker

The Buffalo Bills are looking for internal defensive improvements for the 2026 season. Reports indicate the team has developed significant plans for second-year nose tackle Deone Walker. The 22-year-old enters his second professional season after being selected in the 2025 NFL Draft. During his rookie campaign, Walker started 16 of his 17 appearances, recording 39 total tackles, one sack, and four quarterback hits. Coaches expect the 6-foot-7, 331-pound lineman to provide increased pressure on opposing quarterbacks and strengthen the team's run defense. The defensive front will feature Walker alongside T.J.
