Bunnell football captain Rody Ricketts handles college recruiting during final season

Bunnell senior captain Rody Ricketts enters his final high school football season while managing interest from numerous Division I programs. The versatile athlete, who plays wide receiver, defensive back, running back, and kick returner, has collected offers from schools including Syracuse, UMass, and Temple. Ricketts recorded over 3,000 all-purpose yards and 28 touchdowns across the previous two seasons. Under the guidance of wide receivers coach Mark Harrison, the Bulldogs aim to build on a 10-3 campaign that saw the team reach the Class MM state finals. Bunnell moves to Class M this year and opens its schedule against Notre Dame Prep this Friday at 6:30 p.m. Ricketts is also a recognized basketball player who has contributed to back-to-back state championships for the school.
