Camden Bradley and Irelynn Sedore earn Battle Creek athlete honors

Lakeview soccer player Camden Bradley and Pennfield volleyball player Irelynn Sedore were named Bronson Battle Creek Athletes of the Week for the period of Aug. 22-29. The selection, determined by a fan poll, recognizes individual contributions to recent team successes. Bradley, a goaltender, anchored the Lakeview defense during the All-City Boys Soccer Tournament, successfully navigating consecutive overtime shootouts to secure the title. His performance included a decisive save in the championship match against Harper Creek. Simultaneously, Sedore reached a career milestone by recording her 1,000th dig while competing at the Cereal City Invitational. Her performance over the weekend included 45 digs and 35 kills against various opponents. The Bronson Battle Creek/Enquirer program will continue to select both a male and female athlete representative on a weekly basis throughout the season.
