Cardinals announce starting QB Beck for Hall of Fame game against Panthers

Summary

Carson Beck will start at quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals in the Hall of Fame game on Thursday, August 6, against the Carolina Panthers. The game marks the NFL's annual kickoff to the preseason, coinciding with the Hall of Fame induction ceremony on August 8, featuring Larry Fitzgerald and Luke Kuechly. Beck, a third-round rookie, has shown improvement in recent training camp practices after a shaky start, making strides in his accuracy. The Cardinals' decision to start Beck aligns with the common practice of resting established starters during this preseason game.
