Cardinals expect Trey McBride to excel under new HC Mike LaFleur

Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride is set to continue his strong performance under newly appointed head coach Mike LaFleur when training camp opens on July 22. McBride achieved remarkable statistical success in 2025, ranking second in receptions and touchdown receptions while being sixth in total receiving yards. Despite limited opportunities due to a struggling offense and the absence of quarterback Kyler Murray for most of the last season, McBride's role is expected to expand in 2026 with LaFleur's offensive system.
