Cardinals open training camp ahead of busy preseason schedule

The Arizona Cardinals reported to training camp on July 22, launching a summer with four preseason games and a joint practice. The team’s first practice is planned for July 23 at State Farm Stadium, where new head coach Mike LaFleur will evaluate player capabilities in a bid to build a successful future. The Cardinals will participate in the Hall of Fame Game against the Panthers on August 6, followed by preseason games against the Raiders, Cowboys, and Packers. A joint practice with the Packers is scheduled for August 26. The roster must be trimmed to 53 players by August 30.
