Cardinals sign Brodric Martin following injury concerns on defense

Summary

The Arizona Cardinals signed defensive tackle Brodric Martin on August 1, 2026, after evaluating him along with three other players during a workout the day prior. This addition may be related to a left knee injury sustained by Walter Nolen during practice. Martin, a third-round pick by the Detroit Lions in the 2023 NFL Draft, has experienced a tumultuous career, including a stint on injured reserve and multiple team changes. The Cardinals now look to bolster their defensive line depth amidst injury assessments.
