Carolina Panthers plan to sign Jeremiah Moon to the practice squad

The Carolina Panthers intend to re-sign outside linebacker Jeremiah Moon to their practice squad. This move follows the team releasing Moon during the final roster cutdown on August 30. Moon initially entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Baltimore Ravens in 2022. He spent time with the Pittsburgh Steelers during the 2024 season and also played for Carolina during the 2025 campaign, including an appearance in a Week 9 game against the Green Bay Packers. The linebacker previously returned to the Panthers on August 9 before his most recent release. The team is now bringing him back to provide depth to the organization's reserve unit.
