Ca'ron Williams includes Ohio State in top twelve recruiting list

California cornerback Ca'ron Williams has narrowed his recruitment to 12 schools, with the Ohio State football program remaining in contention. The Santa Margarita Catholic standout, ranked as the top cornerback in California for the 2028 class, holds a scholarship offer from the Buckeyes after visiting Columbus in April. Williams currently plays for a high school team coached by Carson Palmer, which improved to 2-0 following a recent victory. During that win, Williams recorded a pick-six and a blocked extra point. While the Buckeyes focus on their 2026 season opener, the coaching staff continues to prioritize the 2028 recruiting cycle. Williams is also considering Cal, LSU, Miami, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Texas A&M, UCLA, USC, and Washington.
