Castle golf team achieves program's best finish at IHSAA state finals

Castle finished fourth at the IHSAA boys golf state finals on June 17 at Prairie View Golf Club. The team recorded their best result in program history, concluding the tournament with a final round score of 303, eight strokes behind champions Westfield. The Knights initially contended for the lead but fell behind Center Grove after day one. Freshman Alex Cook secured a third-place finish individually, contributing to notable team metrics this season, including winning the Southern Indiana Athletic Conference title and capturing sectional and regional trophies.
