Ceddanne Rafaela and Trevor Story miss Red Sox lineup against Orioles

The Boston Red Sox open a four-game series against the Baltimore Orioles on Thursday without center fielder Ceddanne Rafaela and shortstop Trevor Story. Rafaela was removed from Wednesday's game in the seventh inning due to quad tightness and is considered day-to-day as he undergoes treatment. Interim manager Chad Tracy opted to give Story a rest day after the shortstop started four consecutive games following his activation from the injured list on Sunday. Eli White will make his second start in center field since joining the team, while Isiah Kiner-Falefa fills in at shortstop. The game marks the return of Adley Rutschman to the Red Sox starting lineup at Camden Yards, where the catcher will hit third against Orioles starter Brandon Young.
