Celtic shows interest in Lazio winger Matteo Cancellieri

Celtic has expressed a strong interest in signing Lazio winger Matteo Cancellieri as Kasper Hogh passes his medical in London. Cancellieri, a 24-year-old right-sided attacker, had a successful season with four goals and two assists for Lazio. His transfer fee may be negotiated down to around £8 million. Celtic has also been linked to Real Oviedo's Haissem Hassan but is likely to pursue only one of the two players. Hogh's official unveiling is expected soon, ahead of Celtic's season opener against Dundee.
