Chandler Zavala joins Carolina Panthers to complete initial practice squad

The Carolina Panthers finalized their initial 2026 practice squad on Tuesday with the signing of guard Chandler Zavala. The 27-year-old returns to the team after being waived on Monday to accommodate the addition of interior lineman Corey Bullock, who was claimed off waivers from the Baltimore Ravens. A product of North Carolina State University, Zavala was a fourth-round selection in the 2023 NFL Draft and has recorded 14 starts over 34 career appearances. His arrival brings the roster to its 17-man limit. The completed group includes a mix of positions, featuring wide receivers David Moore and Ja'seem Reed, along with linebacker Tyrel Dodson and defensive lineman Anthony Goodlow. Mapalo Mwansa remains on the roster as the team's international exception.
