Charlie Woods struggles at U.S. Amateur qualifying in Ohio

Charlie Woods, the son of Tiger Woods, shot a five-over-par 76 during U.S. Amateur qualifying at Ohio State University’s Scarlet Course on July 16, 2026. His score was six shots short of making the cut. Thirteen qualifiers advanced from the site, led by William Lisle and Lorenzo Pinili, who both shot four under par. Charlie Woods, a member of the 2025 Rolex Junior All-America team, is set to participate in the upcoming U.S. Junior Amateur at Saucon Valley later this month. He has also committed to play college golf at Florida State after completing his high school career next year.
