Chelsea explores signings of Henderson and Welbeck after summer transfers

Chelsea FC has turned its focus towards experienced players Jordan Henderson and Danny Welbeck in ongoing transfer discussions. This comes after the club’s record £117 million signing of Morgan Rogers and a £52 million deal for Maxence Lacroix. Chelsea's recruitment strategy is shifting to prioritize veteran presence alongside youthful talent, aiming to add necessary leadership and steadiness to a young squad. Henderson’s availability as a free agent from Brentford emphasizes this new direction, while Welbeck, known for his penalty-box expertise, could provide crucial depth in Chelsea's attacking options. Discussions are still at early stages, with both players viewed as key influences for future matches.
