Chelsea rejects Leeds' loan bid for Mudryk amid ongoing negotiations

Chelsea has rejected an initial season-long loan offer from Leeds United for winger Mykhailo Mudryk. The offer reportedly did not meet Chelsea's expectations, yet discussions between the teams are ongoing. Mudryk, returning to action after a lengthy ban, is looking to regain match fitness at another club this season. The 25-year-old has expressed a preference to stay in the Premier League, despite interest from other teams, including Strasbourg. Leeds, having signed several players this summer, are in a position to cover Mudryk's salary without a purchase option, which appeals to Chelsea.
