Cherie DeVaux's Stirring Words dies from cardiac event at Saratoga

Stirring Words, a three-year-old colt trained by Cherie DeVaux, died after a cardiac event while warming up at Saratoga Race Course on August 28. The horse collapsed on the track during its pre-workout routine. This incident marks the first racing-related fatality at Saratoga since July, with only three reported since the meet began on July 3.
