Chris Wilder calls for calm after Sheffield United beats Blackburn

Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder urged fans to remain patient after his team secured a 2-1 Championship victory over Blackburn. Goals from Tom Cannon and Sydie Peck pushed the Blades into ninth place in the league standings. Sheffield United has now recorded two wins, three draws, and one loss through the opening six matches of the season. Wilder attributed the team's current performance struggles to an injury list that includes Harrison Burrows, Femi Seriki, Tahith Chong, and Ryan One. The manager noted that these absences have forced him to adapt his planned tactical system while the squad works to improve its collective fitness. Wilder emphasized that the team will continue to improve as injured players return and the squad finds a consistent rhythm leading into the international break.
