Christoph Freund sees competition between Aleksandar Pavlović and Tom Bischof

Bayern Munich sporting director Christoph Freund plans to utilize competition between young midfielders Aleksandar Pavlović and Tom Bischof for playing time this season. While Joshua Kimmich remains the established starter in the center of the pitch, one midfield spot alongside him remains open for the two younger players. Pavlović, now in his fourth season with the club, has secured more minutes early in the campaign. However, Bischof, a German international, is expected to receive significant playing time as the season progresses. The club currently maintains three primary holding midfielders for two positions, including young player Bara Ndiaye to add depth to the rotation.
