Claire Friedlander selected for U.S. rowing team at World Championships

Claire Friedlander has been named to the U.S. team for the 2026 World Championships in Amsterdam, where she will compete in the lightweight women’s single sculls from August 24 to 30. Friedlander secured her spot by winning the lightweight women’s single sculls trial at Mercer Lake with a time of 7:51.81. This achievement further highlights the strength of the Wisconsin Badgers rowing program, where Friedlander was a standout from 2019 to 2023. She previously represented the U.S. at the 2022 World Rowing Under-23 Championships in Italy, adding to her competitive experience.
