Claude Makelele endorses Tchouameni's contract extension with Real Madrid

Former Real Madrid midfielder Claude Makelele praised Aurelien Tchouameni's recent contract extension with the club, emphasizing his critical role in Jose Mourinho's squad. Makelele described Tchouameni as a key player for successful teams and dismissed any notion of letting him leave amid interest from Manchester United. He also defended Kylian Mbappe against criticism, asserting that the striker often bears undue responsibility due to a lack of support from midfield. Makelele believes that the absence of a midfielder capable of carrying the ball through the lines hinders Madrid's attack. Tchouameni's contract extension now runs until 2031.
