Cleveland Cavaliers schedule 2026-27 training camp in Spain

The Cleveland Cavaliers will hold their 2026-27 training camp in Fuengirola, Spain, moving away from their previous site at IMG Academy in Florida. Players will train at The Embassy, a high-performance facility designed by former players Berni Rodríguez and José Calderón, from September 30 through October 5. Team president Koby Altman stated the decision aims to build team chemistry while offering the roster an opportunity to engage with Spanish basketball culture. The team will hold its media day on September 28 before traveling overseas. Following the conclusion of the camp, the Cavaliers are scheduled to open their preseason campaign against the Boston Celtics on October 8. The regular season is set to begin October 22 with an away game against the Philadelphia 76ers.
