C.M. Russell volleyball returns 12 seniors for 2026 season

The C.M. Russell High volleyball team enters the 2026 season with 12 seniors on its roster. The Rustlers, who finished as the Class AA state runner-up last year, aim to return to contention this fall. Coach Woods noted that the squad features significant experience, including returning first-team All-State selections Tayah Osier and Signe Hanson. Brooklyn Young also returns as the team's libero following second-team All-State honors in 2025. The team plans to utilize Osier in the back row to enhance their offensive versatility, while Hanson continues as the primary setter. C.M. Russell opens its schedule with road matches against Helena High on September 3 and Helena Capital on September 5.
