Cocoa claims first win of the season with 56-17 victory over Heritage

Cocoa secured its first win of the season on September 25, defeating Heritage 56-17. The Tigers scored four touchdowns in the first half, leading 27-0 at halftime. Sophomore quarterback Kadin Claflin-Coy threw for 311 yards and four touchdowns, while junior Javeon Scott led the rushing attack with 166 yards and two touchdowns. This victory ends Cocoa's three-game losing streak and provides a confidence boost ahead of their next game against The First Academy. Heritage, after winning its previous two games by a combined score of 86-0, struggled offensively and finished with just 210 total yards.
