College volleyball programs commit to top Dallas-area talent for upcoming seasons

SMU and TCU are currently benefiting from a strong roster of local high school volleyball players, with both teams holding six local players each. As of mid-September 2026, LSU leads the list of programs with the highest number of verbal commitments from Texas high school talent, totaling four. Colorado, Loyola Marymount, and Texas A&M each have three commitments, indicating a potential shift of focus for future recruiting efforts outside Texas. The first day high school seniors can officially sign their commitments is November 11.
