Coventry City sign Toulouse winger Yann Gboho to Premier League squad

Coventry City have confirmed the signing of 25-year-old winger Yann Gboho from Toulouse. The move required ratification from Fifa after the documentation was submitted to the Premier League before Tuesday's transfer deadline. The transfer is currently awaiting final UK visa approval. Gboho, a former France youth international born in the Ivory Coast, previously played for Rennes, Vitesse Arnhem, and Cercle Brugge. He recorded 19 goals across 83 appearances for Toulouse during his tenure at the club. This transaction marks the 12th signing for Coventry City this summer, as the club has invested more than £100m to bolster their squad for the current Premier League campaign. Frank Lampard leads his side to face Manchester City on Saturday as the team seeks its first points of the season following two consecutive losses.
