Horse RacingCowboys Flying remained undefeated after capturing the $3 million All American Futurity on Monday at The Downs at Albuquerque. The 2-year-old colt completed the 440-yard race in 20.62 seconds under the guidance of trainer Marco Chavez-Gutierrez, who assumed responsibility for the horse only three weeks prior. Jockey Nestor Duran piloted the colt to victory, finishing ahead of Ask Her To Fly and Chili Gato. The event concluded a three-season stint for the race in Albuquerque following flood damage at its traditional home, Ruidoso Downs. Beginning next year, the series is scheduled to relocate to Lone Star Park in Grand Prairie, Texas. Additionally, Paradise Pete secured a win in the $250,000 All American Gold Cup on the same program.
