Crawley appoints ex-Arsenal keeper Mannone as player-coach

Crawley Town has appointed Vito Mannone as a player-coach for their League Two team. Mannone, formerly a goalkeeper at Arsenal and Sunderland, will oversee the club's goalkeeping department while also being available for match selection. His hiring follows the departure of Kris Dixon, who held the position for two years. Mannone comes with considerable experience, having played nearly 130 games in professional leagues and most recently served as an academy goalkeeper coach at Brighton & Hove Albion. Crawley manager Colin Kazim-Richards expressed enthusiasm for Mannone's expertise and impact on the team's development.
