Dallas Wings guard Odyssey Sims hosts youth basketball camp in Gulf Breeze

WNBA veteran Odyssey Sims hosts a youth basketball clinic for girls ages 10-17 this Saturday at the Gulf Breeze Rec Center. The "Workout with O" event runs from 2-6 p.m. and focuses on conditioning and basketball drills utilized by the 13-year league veteran. The camp is held in partnership with the One Love Foundation to provide education on the importance of healthy relationships. Sims, a 2019 WNBA All-Star currently playing for the Dallas Wings, plans to share her professional experience with local athletes while discussing potential opportunities in the evolving of women's basketball. This marks the second stop for the initiative, which previously held a session in Dallas earlier this year. The event was organized with local input to bring professional-level training to the Florida panhandle.
