Danhausen expressed his desire to compete in a classic Survivor Series elimination match rather than the WarGames format, during an interview on "The Rich Eisen Show." Since 2022, Survivor Series has featured WarGames, which replaces the traditional five-on-five elimination match. WWE CCO Paul "Triple H" Levesque indicated that the original format had grown tired, but no official plans have been confirmed for its return. WarGames will take place at Daikin Park in Houston, Texas, this year, featuring Roman Reigns and The Bloodline against Royce Keys, Bronco Nima, and Lucien Price of 946.
