Dante Moore leads CBS Sports college football quarterback rankings

CBS Sports released its top 10 college football quarterback rankings on Wednesday ahead of the 2026 season. Oregon's Dante Moore holds the top position following a 2025 performance that included 3,565 passing yards and 30 touchdowns. Texas quarterback Arch Manning ranks second on the list, followed by Ole Miss player Trinidad Chambliss, Miami's Darian Mensah, and Ohio State's Julian Sayin. Mensah, who previously played for Duke, is set to make his debut for Miami this Friday against Stanford. The remainder of the top 10 includes CJ Carr of Notre Dame, USC's Jayden Maiava, Indiana's Josh Hoover, SMU's Kevin Jennings, and Auburn's Byrum Brown. Moore and Manning are currently considered among the favorites for the Heisman Trophy as the new season gets underway.
