Demolition of Highmark Stadium, formerly the home of the Buffalo Bills, commenced on May 1 and will continue through March 2027. The structure is being dismantled, comprising over 900,000 square feet of materials including steel and concrete. The stadium, which opened in 1973 as Rich Stadium, served the Bills for 53 seasons before their final home game on January 4. The team will relocate to a new facility in 2026, situated across Abbott Road at 10 Bills Plaza.
