DePaul baseball defeated Bergen Catholic 8-5 in the North Non-Public A semifinal on June 2. The Spartans advanced to their second consecutive sectional final, powered by Jason Amalbert’s two-run homer and a final defensive play that secured the win. Junior pitcher Chase Colaianni struck out 12 over 5 2/3 innings. Bergen Catholic's Michael Alberto contributed a two-run homer, but it wasn't enough to close the gap. DePaul will face Delbarton in the sectional final on June 4.
